I removed the string and attached the shell to a shirt for a costume. It worked very well.

The shell is almost a little too big. If you’re brunette people WILL tell you you look like human Ursula from the little mermaid - so know that… pretty cute and well made. The metal is good value also!

This necklace is perfect if you’re going for an Ursula/Vanessa/Little Mermaid look. The velvet string is comfortable and lets you make this the perfect length.The shell is shiny and exactly what I pictured to bring the movie to life. Great for Halloween, cosplay, or life in general IMO
